Welcome to Reignite Reincarnation!
You’re in the right place if you’re curious about who you were — and why certain memories, dreams, emotions, or intuitions seem to echo beyond this life.
This page is your orientation: what Reignite is, how we work, and where to begin — calmly, thoughtfully, and without pressure to believe anything prematurely.
What This Site Is About
- Reignite continues the work of Dr. Walter Semkiw and collaborators, preserving a significant archive of reincarnation research while extending it with modern tools, clearer frameworks, and open community participation via a new digital partner, ReincarnationForum.com
- This is not about replacing what came before — it’s about keeping the work alive, accessible, and responsibly evolving.
- Balancing Evidence + Intuition — We respect both documented cases (memories, birthmarks, facial parallels) and intuitive validation (mediumship, spirit guides).
- Encouraging Participation & Discovery — This is not a monologue. We invite you to share, question, explore, and grow with us.
Balancing Evidence and Intuition
Reincarnation research has always lived at the intersection of:
- Documented evidence (childhood memories, birthmarks, facial parallels, historical matches)
- Intuitive insight (mediumship, inter-life memory, non-ordinary perception)
We treat both with respect — and with distinction. Evidence is labeled. Interpretation is contextualized. Speculation is never presented as fact.
An Open, Participatory Inquiry
Reignite is not a single voice or a closed system.
We invite readers, researchers, experiencers, and skeptics alike to observe, question, compare, and reflect.
You do not need to “arrive believing” to participate meaningfully here.
The Candle Model: How We Understand Continuity
To help ground the experience of reincarnation without reducing it to belief or metaphor alone, we often use what we call the Candle Model.
The Model, Simply Explained:
- The flame represents soul consciousness — awareness, memory, identity.
- The candle (wax and wick) represents a single lifetime — body, personality, circumstance.
- When a candle burns out (i.e. physical death), the flame is not destroyed. Memories, learning and experiences, and beliefs like Karma, are maintained.
- When a new candle is lit (i.e. new, rebirth), the flame continues — expressed through a different form to accomplish great tasks that informs the soul.
The flame is continuous.
The candle changes.
Why This Model Matters
The metaphor translates well into Reincarnation concepts. As across many cultures, candles are symbolically lit to:
- honor the dead
- remember continuity
- mark presence beyond absence
In reincarnation research, we see a similar pattern:
- the form changes
- the expression changes
- yet something recognizable continues
Memories, talents, fears, affinities, and emotional imprints may carry forward — not always clearly, not always completely, but often meaningfully.
The Candle Model reminds us:
- continuity does not require sameness
- investigation does not require certainty
- respect matters more than conclusions
It’s a way of holding curiosity without forcing answers, allowing the spirit and soul having a human experience to learn, expand, and transform into higher states of deeper self-understanding.

Our Partners & Linked Sites (What They Do)
Because the study of reincarnation benefits from collaboration, we link to several trusted platforms and forums. Here’s a brief guide:
- ReincarnationForum — A longstanding public discussion board where people share, debate, and examine past-life experiences, especially around children’s memories and case narratives. It’s community-driven, supported by researchers and experiencers alike, and offers qualitative data, peer support, and case discussion. (reincarnationforum.com)
- Transpersonal & Parapsychology Platforms — We link to blogs and research hubs that host essays, case reports, or interviews relevant to consciousness, survival, and spiritual science.
- Historical & Archival Sites — Some external links are to image repositories, digitized archives, or public-domain document collections we use to cross-check portraits, geography, or historical context in cases.
Each link is offered as a resource — a doorway into complementary work that informs, inspires, and strengthens the collective conversation.
What You’ll Find Here (Key Site Sections)
Each link is a doorway — not a directive. Exploration is always optional.
- Case Archive — Our organized repository of reincarnation cases, sorted by themes and evidence type
- Series & Blog — Articles, interviews, and serialized deep dives you can follow over time
- Tech & Tools — Behind-the-scenes demos and experiments (AI, mapping, Semkiw 10 Point System)
- Forum & Community — Where visitors and researchers converse, share intuitions, and ask questions
Credibility, Ethics & Guardrails
We practice Responsible Inquiry. That means:
- Clarity — Hypothesis, interpretation, and evidence are clearly distinguished
- Privacy & Consent — You control what you share; sensitive material is protected
- Humility — No absolute claims, no pressure to conclude
- Discernment — We encourage both open heart and critical thinking
Reignite exists to explore carefully, not persuade aggressively.
Thank you for being here!
Whether you stay a few minutes or many years, may this space help you:
- listen more closely
- question more gently
- and consider the possibility that who you are may extend further than you’ve been told
The flame continues — even as the candle changes.
Help Keep the Flame Alive
Reignite exists to carry forward the work of Dr. Walter Semkiw—to preserve decades of research, expand responsible inquiry into reincarnation, and make this knowledge accessible to families, researchers, and future generations.
This work takes time, care, and resources. Your support helps us:
- maintain and protect the research archive
- develop new tools and educational content
- support community spaces like ReincarnationForum
- continue thoughtful, ethics-first exploration of human continuity
If this work has informed, reassured, or inspired you, we invite you to consider supporting its continuation.
